AmAzing Sermon! Pastor Sean,
THANK YOU for NOT avoiding these passages and keeping sensitivity to the movement of the Holy Spirit, because... wow!
When you first began reading todays passages, like you I was wondering what would come of it. ... Of COURSE the Word of the LORD will NOT return to Him void-! What a promise!
And so it is with this sermon.
I praise the LORD for His Word and message to us today, and for the confirmation of a loving heart toward Him.
Thank you for teaching the history so plainly, and pointing out the details of His protection after they crossed the Jordan, as well as detailing how obedience preceeds victory. I also appreciate the parallels segment, and the focus on how He will "roll back the reproach/scorn" and reveal His glory. I was saying Hallelujah! right along with the members of your flock!
AMEN!!! This is sooooo true!!!
I wish there were some way to broadcast this information to the masses. At least SOME loving parents (and smart kids) would be emboldened to change the status quo.
There are many homeschool families succesfully putting these ideas into practice. The beauty is in hearing their married kids give testimony to how thankful they are for the purity these practices kept in place, and the LACK of heartache they experienced overall.
Not only that, but putting into practice what was discussed at the end would be very liberating! (Isn't that the way things were years ago when college began to be such a big expectation here?)
Excellent Points! This parent was inspired-! AND already sent the link to our ym. I listened twice - once for intro and twice to take copious notes!
My kids have talked about the HUGE NEED for this kind of ministry, even as ELEMENTARY students. They were soooooo tired of the same old milky presentations of Scripture as children's stories. Especially as homeschoolers already being taught creation science and some basic apologetics, and understanding with no problem, they were bored! Sunday School was often a setback, childish, or even pointless (to them), though their teachers were very faithful!
Kids are SMART. We need to treat them as such. !!! Thank you for this article/podcast!
Great Sermon! Thank you sooooo much for this message!
I really appreciate the genealogy comparison info, as well as the timeline explanations. I have already begun to share with anyone who will listen-!
Very few messages will I study and listen to more than once. This is one of them. (Along with Pastor Sean's messages about Joshua's commission.)
I praise The Lord for leading me to your church via SermonAudio! It has helped so very much to be able to watch the videos (& push pause if needed) during these past few months of not being able to get out and go to my own church.
Thank you all for preaching His Word so FAITHFULLY!
