"Are conservative Christians hypocritical and selective when it comes to the Bible’s condemnation of homosexuality"I think the debate which has emerged in these last few decades over homosexuality is more about Liberalism in the church and society than what reprobates might perceive in a moral way on homosexual practice. The debate directly embraces the law of God and forces the non-Christian population to consider a choice which previously didn't bother them too much. For thousands of years mankind has observed and agreed that homosexuality was abnormal as well as morally wrong. They didn't require Scripture to teach this, they simply saw that it was naturally the wrong way to have sex. Homosexual practice stood alongside rape, incest and paedophilia in previous times. Even adultery was frowned upon by the majority of society. In recent times we have observed sex before marriage, single parenting, adultery and abortion emerge as acceptable in western societies. There are even parts of society which try today to legalise paedophilia. During these times of the rejection of church, Bible and therefore God, it is no big surprise to see homosexuality, transgender and other forms of unnatural sins become valid to lawless and evil hearted sinners who are without God. |

""Men and women, out of emptiness of their current situation spiritually, are turning to faith in Jesus Christ despite the literally lethal risks in doing so," Moeller said. "That’s only attributable to the work of the Holy Spirit.""Amen! Persecution is not only a painful process but provides the perhaps curious basis on which the church grows. Matt 5:10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Praise the Lord for His continued work and witness in this fallen world. |

"In a speech designed to convince the world that “gay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights,” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said religious objections to homosexuality should not stand in the way" Hillary Clinton being a Liberal is anti-Christian, anti-Bible and therefore anti-God. Her immoral stance on this evil practice this abomination is typical of the satanic evil community of Liberals. However this disease is becoming epidemic amongst politicians and bureaucrats in western nations. Ultimately Satan's aim will be to establish enough doubt amongst the non-Christian community to alienate the Bible and Christianity. And as Peter teaches in 2Peter2 there are many false churches who support this abomination to the rejection of Scripture, like the Anglican/Episcopalian church of deceit. God's law states Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. But Liberals such as Hillary cannot receive the truth of Scripture, they belong to Satan and the dominion of sin. |

Yes!And in other western countries. Gradually Biblical Christianity is being marginalised and seen as irrelevant by the reprobate majority. Liberalism as an epidemic is spreading through the institutions such as governments, judiciary, establishment churches, schools and industry. These institutions lack real authority which comes only from God. The most obvious example of this is moral authority which no longer even exists in the establishment (national) churches and in political leadership. The True Church therefore is sidelined and rejected by bureaucracy which becomes the authority amongst the people. The Bible is reduced to mythological status and seen to be old fashioned relating to a time when people were naive in their thinking and philosophy of life. Predictions: Matt 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" |

Homosexuality, CNN and the Roman Catholic church all come from the same evil source. Satan and sin!Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. |

WMXE wrote: A) If he were Roman Catholic, his priest could rebuke him privately or he could be excommunicated by his bishop/pope (Matthew 18). B) In the Protestant world, every man interprets the Bible himself A) No Need. ALL Roman Catholics being idolatrous and blasphemous hypocrites and deceivers are already excommunicated from the True Church which follows Scripture and not some silly Traditions invented by sinners. Thus as the Bible predicts the blind follow the blind; - The blind papist follows the blind Vatican.B) NO! In the real world of the Protestant Church we follow the Word of God which states, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." John 16:13 So "popes" whether little or big are irrelevant in the lives of the elect of God. We are taught by the Holy Spirit indwelling within us and working Faith in our hearts. The true Protestant Reformed Church are lead and taught by divine hands. - Unlike the Roman Catholic salvation by self help (works) and Vatican Traditions. |

“I believe the Bible is the word of God, so who am I to ignore something from it?"Good to hear!! With the doctrinal decline in the churches the Sabbath has suffered as well as all else Christian and Biblical. The Sabbath (Sunday) was one of the first casualties on this road to hell. I remember reading that an 19th century minister stated that if the Sabbath was lost to the nation then the nation would suffer badly. All too true!! Jim Lincoln Sunday is the day on which the Christian Sabbath falls. Sabbath: A day to keep. J.C.Ryle |

"a majority also believe that the importance of identifying with a denomination will diminish over the next 10 years."At a time when the dread disease of Liberalism is killing all authority, decency and morals it should be noted at the core of Liberalism is "anarchy." In the churches this means anarchy from God and His Holy Word, law and doctrines. In society it means anarchy in the institutions of government, justice, education and administration of the community, marriage, and includes moral standards. Thus actual "authority" ceases to exist within the society. Denominationalism is a form of authority over groups of people who pay allegiance to a specific creed. Being thus grouped together they fall under a specific authority. Removal of authority is Satan's method of crowd control by chaos. The denomination, viz church is broken up and as they say "united we stand divided we fall." Somewhere in the OT (I can't remember the verses) it talks of the people "going their own way" - significant of this kind of sinful practice. |

Countries of the east like Africa and India are certainly evil places to be called Christian. In the western nations we find the politicians and bureaucrats bending over backwords to placate the other religions which are slaughtering the Christians in the east. The west has been the cradle of the Christian Church over many centuries, where it has played a part in societies, even so the True Church has bled here also many times. Significantly the difference has been that the other religions were not allowed to take root quite so strongly in the west as the east. Until Now!! |

Question. Does God chastise His children?Prov 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Prov 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. 15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. Prov 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Prov 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. 17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. "ROD" H7626, shêbeṭ. "From an unused root probably meaning to branch off; a scion, that is, (literally) a stick (for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, etc.) or (figuratively) a clan: - X correction, dart, rod, sceptre, staff, tribe." |

"calls to Muslims in Britain to launch Internet campaigns in support of the British rioters and to urge them to topple the government."Most of the muslims in Britain and other western countries, have settled down to a "decent" civilised life. They are very happy with this life since they receive the benefits of an education, job, house, car and prestige in the community. Back in their old countries they "riot" to try to get some of these benefits, eg democracy, which the westernised muslims now enjoy in abundance. Therefore the majority of muslims in western countries are not going to pay heed to these chaotic ideas to rock the boat. Interesting that the western countries have the historic foundation of being Christian in their national religion. Pity the muslims cannot perceive this truth! |
