Great Sermon! Be careful of reforming yourself without going to Hebrews 4:15-16 - 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Chances are if you never have been convicted by the Holy Spirit you are just a professer and have not been given power Rom. 6:14, 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Look to Christ first before dead works take you away seeking your own righteousness Rom 10:3,4 - For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
