I know that speaking in tongues is a spiritual & prayer language. It edifies the church and/or the one speaking. The devil surely will never know what was said.
I was raised southern baptist and I do not agree with some things I was taught because it didn't line up with the Word of GOD.
But, I find that, in all denominations. That is why we are instructed to SEARCH the scriptures (DAILY AND WHEN SOMEONE PREACHES), meditate on the Word OF GOD, talk (pray) to the LORD about it and wait for an answer from HIM, not man.
Out of respect & love for my believing brothers and sisters in Christ, I hope not to say anything hurtful or misleading. That is why, it is very important to me for EVERYONE, to KNOW the WORD of GOD, and FIND and to KNOW Jesus CHRIST. Because I KNOW that Jesus is the source to go to for all the answers I need. Man, has a tendancy to bring his/her opinions in the Word of GOD. It's not suppose to be that way. I read a sign on the way home from work; it says: "P.U.S.H." and it means "Pray Until Something Happens". If we all can forget the headship issues in every denomination and come together to believe in a single cause I think then and only, we'll be headed in the right direction together as ONE with ONE MIND in CHRIST Jesus.He is what it's all about. |
