Of course they cannot perceive truth in Scripture, only the Christian can do that with the help of the Holy Spirit. If only they had free will.
If only they were freed from the bondage of sin. And also this helps us grasp the fact that 'faith' is the gift of God, not a human resource. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. |
