Matt! What a tremendous, well-thought-out, well presented, biblically based talk! I think you nailed it. I subscribe to the saying, "You can't legislate morality." Change has to come from the HEART, and the Lord Jesus Christ is the One Who, by His resurrection,transforming power, changes all types of sinners from the worst, to the 10 yr. old who steals a dime from her mother's purse. I'm a senior citizen, and about as much a Bible thumper, as one can be--very much a believer in the fundamentals of the historic, orthodox, Christian faith. Everything you said was totally accurate. The only fault I would find with your talk (and I say this in love)was that I don't think you needed to sound quite as almost hesitant/unsure about your view(s)as you did. But you are real nice and that probably goes over better than someone like myself, who tends to be nice (I think), but am more unwavering. Anyway, God bless you and your service for Him, and I love you in the bonds of the Lord Jesus.
