Part two:
What does SCRIPTURE say, NOT our feelings or life experiences. God's word surpasses our daily exposures - while we are to gain wisdom from our life's experiences, they are to be viewed through a biblical understanding. To limit God because of the sin we see around us shows a lack of willingness to trust in a God who has plans to honor Himself. Don't miss out being a grand part of it because you see the ravages of sin around you; God is bigger than this!

A lot of people claim to believe the same things as christians... and never act them out but instead act out the opposite.

I'd call Obama nothing but a "pew warmer" but even that he does too infrequently to be counted.

What he does repetedly speaks volumes over what he claims to believe.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Charles Hodge may been a Guardian of some Christian orthodoxy, but he was also a supporter of post-millennialism. The Unscriptural Theologies Of Amillennialism And Postmillennialism
The PreMill Rapture is a fallacy, a speculative theory based upon an erroneous interpretation of Scripture, and an obscure perception of God and what was accomplished by Christ Crucified.

Scripture's promise is eternal life - NOT a measly 1000 years.

God has the omnipotent and omniscient ability to perceive and foreknow all that is required in His elect in the current world age and has established all that is required without going round again for another period of time.

Thats why HE elected the elect.

Perhaps your problem in these areas Jim, is the Liberal Anglican contributed NASB you are using.

Ecclesiastes 9:11
I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise ones the food, nor do the understanding ones the riches, nor do those having knowlege have the favor;because time and unforseen occurence befall them all.
