Will the Super Injunction scandal finally take it toll? lol Sowing and reaping a vital Biblical principle Sammy Do you think that Pope Joseph Ratzinger will be prosecuted for paedophilia too? Have the police concluded their investigations thus far on his case? How many priest paedophiles do you think remain active and under cover of bishop and Vatican? |

jpw wrote: I hardly think that God is going to keep a woman from being pregnant because later on she is going to terminate the pregnancy jpw In relation to your statement above I would have to ask, "What do you believe about God's ability of foreknowledge"?However the question as to whether God creates the soul at birth, or earlier, is an old theological debate. 1. "Creationism" - holds that God creates a new soul at the birth of every individual. 2. "Traducianism" - holds that the souls as well as the body originates by propagation. 3. "Pre-existence" - (early church) holds that soul existed in a previous state. Hence the reason for my applying the question in this "very modern" context. In the old days the Reformed Church preferred creationism - Lutherans went for Traducianism. RCC - "souls are created at their infusion into the body" (Peter the Lombard). It is obviously a question which mortals can only speculate upon. However I do agree that abortion is wrong and I tend to see it as culpable killing, since if the termination had not been applied, the foetus/soul would go on to birth and life. Thus to stop this by man is killing. |

The Fat Guy wrote: But so are the Christian men and women who sit in their church pews who use birth control pills. They are engaging in the same crime as the abortionist, just using a chemical alternate. TFG Does God provide the soul/life in conception? If so would HE decline to place a soul/life at conception, which was not going to be allowed to live? |

“Is the Jesus Christ in your Bible the one who lied in John 7:8 as the NASB and ESV read?" John 7:8-10 KJV Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up YET unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. "Here we read of Jesus telling his brethren to go up unto a feast and He says: "I go NOT up YET unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Gallilee. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret." He did in fact go up to the feast." "However Sinaiticus says: "I DO NOT GO to this feast", and so do the NASB, ASV, RSV, ESV and Wallace's NET version thus making our Lord a liar." "The fickle nature of this so called "science" is also seen in that Westcott and Hort originally read "NOT YET" and so did the previous Nestle-Aland critical texts up until a few years ago. But the more recent ones have "scientifically" changed to now read "I do NOT go to this feast."” |

John UK wrote: It ties in perfectly with the gospel I preach, and the answer to the question: "What must I do?" is: 1. Repent.. 2. Believe... 3. Receive Are these three things done before or after regeneration? In other words, do I become regenerated by the Holy Spirit because I have done these things or do I do these things because I have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit? |

A Bible Christian Who Believes wrote: As I posted in another News Item: The EU Seat #666 (Par6 Blackhole666) has YET to be filled ! I believe It'll be filled by THE Beast BEFORE He's "Revealed" (In The Re-built Temple as THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION) ! How many EU seats are there? Just wondering if 667 exists, and has it been filled? |
