John, I believe Fritz Springmeier goes into devil possession, mind control, and multiple personalities. I can't remember for sure as it's been awhile, but I do recall for sure that his work is rather disturbing.

Born again, I hope you truly are! Though I do believe "the rod" doctrine is false, those that adhere to it seem in my opinion to have the desire to serve the Lord faithfully, unlike so many others. There's a brother I knew a few years ago that ended up accepting this teaching, so I did look into it. I don't think I have any bias because I do not desire to try and live a sinful life as close to the world as possible while still being found worthy of eternal life. So after learning a bit about the doctrine I just couldn't be convinced that it is scriptural. I read the battles between Joey and Herb Evans (I believe that's his name), reviewed some of the material at the kingdombaptist site, and read other forum debates as well. I eventually let the matter go because I didn't think serious involvement was worth my time.
Yes exactly - the so-called church today is the state's biggest fan and supporter, and will swiftly sic antichrist on all that do not conform to and comply with the social order. Leonard Verduin wrote a great work in this regard, yet he did not realize that the established form of religion that was brought to God's land called America was statism. Further, the true church cannot grow in this land because when God's people are slaughtered or imprisoned the hasty, judgmental response that the propaganda machine implants is that Antichrist is right and whosoever is wrong. He doesn't answer questions. Reminds me of those direct agents of the state (cops, "judges," etc.) that get so irritated and upset when you ask questions in order to truly understand something, because, as those evildoers like to say, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." But, of course, nobody knows what "The Law" is! And that's why we can clearly determine without a doubt that the judicial sect of the state is nothing but antichrist. We can also clearly see that "The Court" is nothing but a religious ceremony.
