I'm not sure how this conversation ever got started because I don't believe anyone was bashing Katty Perry,but simply addressing the fallacy that she heard God, or that she is searching for him. The only person I know of that routinely bashes unbelievers is John Yurich. It is my contention that we should reprove the unfruitful works of darkness, but not to sanctimoniously bash the unbeliever, for if it were not for the grace of God, we would be just as they are.
I agree that she is in need of prayer, and also agree with JohnUK that we shouldn't expect much else from an unregenerate, but to say she is finding her way back to God is absurd. Nobody "finds" God, for he is found of them that "sought me not" (Isaiah 65:1). Also scripture clearly teaches that "There is NONE that seeketh after God"(Romans 3:11).

You can make things up all you like, but the true Church is the body of Christ, BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS. All true Christians worship Christ as God, but not everyone who claims to worship Christ as God is a Christian or part of the Church.
They dont care about the sanctity of life, but votes. How wonderful.
I think I have more respect for the Democrats who blatantly stand for evil, than Republicans who say they stand against such, but then cower down and do the same thing. At least the Democrats are consistant in their humanistic ideologies.
Ive read the Cannons of Dordt, and I dont recall it expousing what we would refer to as Hyper Calvinism. I think its just being abused by moniker man.
