JM must difference between the open but cautious evangelical continuationists ie Piper, Mahaney, and Grudem as opposed to full on charismatics as typically seen on TBN.
Also, I believe the writer Michael Brown is one of the more balanced from their camp in spite of some time spent with the Brownsville crowd.
I just read that the BSA has already marched in uniform in a gay pride parade in Salt Lake City. Clearly it is time to separate from the wickedness...inaction is validation.
A waitress confided to me last night how 3 years ago she was going to abort a baby against her husbands wishes when a lone man outside the "clinic" spoke to her about God and showed her information on the development of a child and convinced her not to abort. She has driven by that facility and hasn't again seen anyone outside...praise God and his servant for the intervention that day.
There was a video documentary out some years ago called "Shakeytown?" detailng mostly an IFB and an OPC pastor in the Bay area challenging the homosexual agenda. At one point there was an attempted bombing of the OPC pastor and families home. Thankfully it did not ignite. Thise "friendly gay characters" often protrayed by hollywood can quickly turn treacherous when they don't get theur way.
I don't think that a believer can do anything they want good or bad and still have comfort of assurance regardless of positional their standing. All the NT writiers show some consistency and exhorting what salvation should look like.
mr. b, To answer your question, Pastor Jeffress probabaly isn't well liked by liberals because he starts out this radio link from June 2012 with "homosexuality is a perversion...a twisting, a distortion of God's plan for sexuality". I will now listen to the rest of the message.
“ Great Sermon! ” I appreciate that the Calvinistic Methodist Confession was included giving a nod to methodist roots and an appreciation for the fire that burned in the churches in Wales in times past.
