I grew up in low income public housing in the 60s and 70s and as young white kid experienced terrifying racism that included being chased by gangs of black kids and "expropriation " of my school lunch money on a regular basis. I never retaliated, and, to the contrary, was taught to do all that I could to be a peacemaker. Throughout my life I have gone out my way to be friends with any black people within my sphere. Even recently I was attending a primarily black church and very much enjoyed the warmth and fellowship that was rare in the more staid white churches. However, there was, with certain individuals, a latent hostility that I was perceiving that once again grieved me, and I have quit attending. This type of racism toward whites that I have described is not often heard of in today's media, but I am certain that I'm not alone in these experiences. The point is that I am grieved, and not angry, and never have been angry. Therefore I just can't understand the hate and violence that comes out of these movements. Only in Christ will there be any reconciliation. A political solution to this does not exist. |

The geopolitical conflicts, wars, and disagreements that are taking place on earth in time and space are merely a mirror image of the spiritual conflicts in the heavenly places. The USA, despite its abominable backsliding, is the most obviously Christian nation in it's founding and principles. Thus it becomes the most targeted political entity by the anti-Christ spirit and it's earthly entities. Make no mistake, this is just the beginning, and Israel, which is the other side of the same coin, is, and will be targeted in the same way. This will bring about persecution of Christians and Jews that results in a purging and calling out of God's people. This is judgment, and it begins with the household of God. |
