Frank wrote: I skimmed the entire article and one thing that is absolutely clear is this lady was an evangelical feminist. She twisted scripture to suit her agenda and personal desires. She now knows the the truth about God's purposes for women and men. Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? The article stated that Swindoll never married. So you are stating that it is a sin for a woman not to get married? My Great Aunt(My Mom's Aunt and Sister of my Mom's Mom) never married and worked and resided in Los Angeles, California. |

Mike wrote: You aren't getting any younger, John. When are you headed to Colorado? I have to learn to play the guitar and then form a Country Music/Country Gospel Band and then get a recording contract and start touring around the United States and Canada and then I will be able to afford to purchase a ranch near Calhan or Ramah Colorado. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: There are a whole lot of queer priests in the Romish Church e.g. "Four in five Vatican priests are gay, book claims" https://tinyurl.com/y5wruw3w So it's not much of a surprise About Pope Francis announcement. It is time that Francis be replaced with a conservative who will kick out of the priesthood every fruitcake priest so that there are only heterosexual priests. |

Michael Hranek wrote: It is a bit different than that. Come out of her My people! Time for Catholics to change their religion and time for those who love the RCC to change their affections I am at present only attending my Baptist Church on Sunday morning and not the local Catholic parish on Saturday afternoon because the church bus for my Catholic parish will not resume operation until it is no longer required there be a 6 ft separation between seating. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: "There is convincing biblical evidence which proves the Roman Catholic Church is not "the one true church" nor "the household of God" nor "the pillar and foundation of the truth." In his first letter to Timothy, Paul uses the imagery of a spiritual temple to describe the Church. The "pillars" are that which uphold the truth as revealed and recorded in Scripture. Assuredly, the church upholds the truth but is not named as the source of truth. The "foundation of the truth" is Jesus Christ, who is the very personification of truth. Paul writes: "For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 3:11). Christ is the cornerstone of the foundation which includes the prophets and the apostles, who gave divinely inspired testimony of Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:20). Clearly this foundation was laid and completed in the first century. Once a builder lays a foundation, he does not continue to add to it. Yet the Catholic Church continues to add to its foundation with claims of apostolic succession, infallible papal pronouncements and evolving Tradition...." "Is the One True Church Roman Catholic?" https://tinyurl.com/zb3tfm3 My Baptist Church is a conservative Baptist Church. |

JC wrote: I find your comment interesting John. Four years ago my friends encouraged me to vote for the lessor of the evils. I simply felt like voting for evil was wrong. And yes I appreciated much of what trump stands for. But what if we followed Jesus example and prayed...and prayed...and prayed...its just a thought Praying is good. But not voting is going against the Bible. And voting for Biden would be endorsing evil. Voting for Trump is the only alternative for saved individuals. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: ... or the anti-abortion alone people contains an element who are hiding their racism with the stalking horse of just anti-abortionism, the Evangelical supporters Biden have a very valid point ❗👍 Being anti-abortion, without supporting universal health Care is hypocrisy and an ethical failure Being against abortion and homosexual marriage are the only two issues that matter when voting because supporting abortion and homosexual marriage is an attack on the traditional family that God instituted. |

Today at my Baptist Church during Adult Sunday School Part 4 of review of church history where it was left off in February before the virus. Then during worship the sermon was given by Pastor Steve and was titled "Giving What is Due to Whom it is Due" from Mark 12:13-17; 38-44. Then Pastor stated "What Do We Owe Our Ruling Leaders Today?1)Respect and Honor, (2)Obedience, (3)Prayer,(4)Taxes,(5)Good Citizenship. Then Pastor stated What Do We Not Owe Our Ruling Leaders Today?: (1)Not Dependence, (2)Not Hero Worship. The Pastor stated What Do We Owe to God?: (1)Worship Belongs to God Alone,(2)Honor and Glory and Respect Belong to God Alone, (3)Trust and Dependence Belong to God Alone, (4)Surrender Belongs to God Alone. |
