2 Timothy 3:13 KJV

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The course of the age prophetically requires things getting worse not better before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ as testified to by 2 Timothy 3:13 KJV in the context of all of 2 Timothy chapter 3.

An up to date illustration of the truth contained in the last paragraph, from today's events, is provided from this screen capture I grabbed earlier today from the CBC internet website.:

David,

It is also true that some who live morally outside of Christ Jesus, will also suffer persecution. Many persecutors do not differentiate between Protestant and Catholic, Jehovah's Witness or Mormon, Christadelphian or Unitarian; Christendom gets all lumped together, and they do not know the differences, despite there being massive differences.
Dying "for the faith" is no guarantee the person has true saving faith. They believe something, but that something may be a deception, as we find in the Roman Catholic church.
John, my dear brother , as is usual with your comments they are in my estimation so profound. You can take someone else's comment and in essence expand it with your extensive knowledge of various born again Christian knowledge as well as what the world calls "Christian" knowledge.

That's what I like about SermonAudio there are so many men and women Christian experts who know exactly what they are talking about versus many "Christian" websites where it seems the stupidest people get to be the main expositors.

2 Timothy 3:12-14 KJV

12. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

Are you suffering "persecution" to some degree? If not,
2 Timothy 3:12 testifies against you.

The course of the present age is outlined in verse 13. It is not going to get any better but rather worse before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The antidote for the "persecution" and the continuing escalation of evil prophesied of in verses 12 and 13 is found in verse 14.

I myself have been recently persecuted to a degree I have never before experienced in my life. There is no question I have been rattled by the persecution and therefore need to concentrate very heavily on verse 14.

The level of persecution in regards to me by no means rises to the level of that in our news article, "Christians Persecuted for Their Faith Will Serve 6 More Years in Remote Iranian Prisons". However, personally I believe we should pray for all people whom God causes us to be aware that they are suffering persecution for "living godly in Christ Jesus."

Dopey's Believe It or Not

The Annulment (3)

Well someone did show up to testify on behalf of the wrist slitter in the hospital with a nervous break down. A female friend was determined to say something of value on behalf of the woman. After awhile however, the friend started to get angry at the attitude of some nuns taking evidence against, I mean "for" the woman in the hospital.

Finally the friend got extremely angry and told a nun that what was going on reminded her of the Spanish Inquisition, and the nun told that was quite taken aback.

Eventually, a decision was made about the annulment and the wrist slitter who was out of the hospital by this time, received an official document announcing the official decision of the Roman Catholic Church, and she read it.

The Annulment (2)
The Annulment (1) 10/14/14 11:11 AM

The husband who came up with the Roman Catholic Church annulment plan was heard to say, and I paraphrase, "I got lot's of money", "And I know who to contact".

Strange as it may seem, not to long there after there was an annulment hearing, while the lady wrist slitter was in the hosiptal with a nervous breakdown and thus couldn't attend the annulment hearing.

Would any one attend the annulment hearing to represent the lady in the hospital with a nervous breakdown? Or, would the "husband" have it all his own way and get his quicky annulment?

P.S.
Have to leave now for two hours minimum.

I currently have three things going in different threads and which are:

1. Dopey's Believe It or Not in Vatican report on homosexuals stunning change.

2. Dopey's Believe It or Not in California: Christians Must pay for abortions

3. Canada mosque teaches 4-year-olds how to behead.

At this time I will not be finishing up the the three things I had going in those threads as I thought I would today.

I am leaving for a couple of days and believe I will be back on Saturday, Lord willing, and will at that time conclude the three things I thought I
would conclude today.

The Killer (3)

As the police raced towards the home of the man with the rifle, they already knew that the girl who had had her throat slit was dead. But they were worried about her little brother. Where was he? Was he dead also? Had he had his throat slit also?

The car they wanted to investigate was now coming into view.

The Killer (2)

The little boy heard the horrific screams of his sister. Terrified he did the only thing he could think of: he hid under the bed.

The police were driving furiously towards the house of the man who had been told by the police to lock himself in and keep his rifle by his side.

Dopey's Believe It or Not

The Killer

The man was about to go to work when he noticed a parked car that made him feel uneasy. Uneasy enough to not go to work but rather return to the house he had left and then call the police about the car that made him uneasy. The police inquired if he had a rifle in his house. The police also asked him to describe the car that made him feel uneasy. After describing the car, he was told to lock the front door and keep by his side the rifle he had told the police he had in the house. He was also told the police were on the way to his house.

It is he opens the eyes and reveals this awful truth, that I am a sinner, a guilty sinner, a condemned sinner, a hell-bound sinner. And when this occurs, that man does no longer seek to be justified by his works, because he no longer sees any good works in his life, he says with Paul, "There are none that doeth good..."
The imputed righteousness of Christ, given to all who truly believe on him, is the most precious thing, because it is perfect, faultless, pleasing to God, and no-one will ever get to heaven without it.
Thank you John my dear friend.

Having seen your comments for years I expected a good answer from you should you except my invitation and I see God through you gave me my expectations.

You will observe I left out a significant part of your post in my quote from you. I did so for the reason that in my opinion it deserves a separate answer which I will eventually give in God's time.

Dopey's Believe It or Not

Once upon a time there was a Roman Catholic lady that Dopey knew. This lady slit her wrists between 6 and 8 times in an attempt to kill herself over a period of years. This lady was very unhappy to put it mildly.

The Roman Catholic lady wrist slitter had a Roman Catholic husband who desperately wanted to get rid of her and tie up with his secret sweetie whom he had had on the side for years. He thought about it and thought about it and he came up with what he considered a tremendous plan.

The Roman Catholic husband I referred to in the last paragraph came up with a really neat plan. Get an annulment he thought, that way the marriage would not be counted a valid marriage in the first place and he and his secret sweetie could ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after.

The husband thought if he could just get the right high up Catholic official to act on his behalf and the annulment was sure to be his...More but I don't know when or if it will be today or tomorrow.

One of the lies God causes "they" to believe through sent delusion is that the Bible is not produced by God and is not God's word because the Bible clearly contradicts itself.

God uses paradoxes in Scripture, that is, contradictory statements which the deluded conclude prove the Bible is not of God and not God's Word.

What the deluded on their way to hell and the Lake of fire don't understand is that the paradoxes are a deliberate trap set by God so they would fall into the trap and perish.

The secret of the paradoxes set by God in Scripture is that both of the contradictory statements are true!

In 10/14/14 12:22 AM,
I have explained how my half of the particular paradox we are dealing with is true. And I invite John UK when he has the time to explain how his half of that paradox is also true.

John's statement to me:

"God sees me as faultless, David."

It is clear that John's statement is a flat out contradiction of my statement which was actually James 5:16.

However, I have already stated, "I will go further than that and state that the paradox created by John and my statements does in fact express a "truth", a Biblical truth revealed in Scripture by no less a person than a member of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.

Both contradictory statements, the paradox, are/is true!

God uses paradoxes in Scripture to trap people He doesn't like and make sure they end up in hell then the Lake of fire. Are you one of them?:

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness...More
