"The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, has, however, proposed that His Dark Materials should be taught as part of religious education in schools"

Which reveals just how much a "NON-CHRISTIAN" Rowan Williams is.
Therein lies the tale of Liberalism!!

2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even AS THERE SHALL BE FALSE TEACHERS AMONG YOU, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

Never a truer word spoken of the modern Anglican abomination.

"making it the second mainline Protestant church to undergo a major schism over the issue of homosexuality and related matters of biblical authority"

It all boils down to the same thing; - Who do you believe wrote the Bible, God or men!!

Christians know that God wrote the Bible from cover to cover.

Liberals spend their life trying to delete Scripture so that they can sanctify lust and carry on with their sins. Their god is man and his culture.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Labour are losing their traditional constituent voter base throughout the country, but there is still a large enough portion to give them many seats with or without Gordon Brown. The problem is that many people still believe socialism is a relevant way to defy the upper classes. What they have not noticed is that the upper class is nigh on defunct and many of the lords and ladies are Labour party supporters or Lib-Dem dandies.
The worst thing that could happen to Britain is a Lib-Dem government, they would probably tax all things hetrosexual, ban marriage and make Politically Correct mind set an academic necessity of life in all parts of society, eg applying for work.

It is obvious that Rowan is an upper middle class yuppie (otherwise known as a Liberal twit) with a disdain for the poor who cannot afford anymore taxes in this overtaxed country. His god is mammon but what can you expect from someone who cannot tell the Bible from the bus timetable.

"a top official in Japan’s new ruling party said Christianity was “exclusive and self-righteous” and that U.S. and European societies with a Christian background are “stuck at an impasse.”"

Sounds like this poor reprobate has just committed hara kiri. May the Lord have mercy upon him and his nation.

2Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

BUT

2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

"Christina Rees, chair of the group Women and the Church, said that the plans showed the Church was committed to equal treatment.
"This is wonderful news. It's a major breakthrough as it expresses the view that men and women are equal in the sight of God," she said."

Miss Rees is clearly NOT a Christian.
She is a Liberal.

Men and women are **ALREADY** equal in GOD's eyes. HE did not need a societal and cultural change in the functions and role of women to perceive that.

It is NOT about women being allowed to do what men do - That is focusing upon human ability.
Whom GOD sends and uses in the pulpit is about GOD's decision alone. The sinner of either gender can do absolutely nothing about that.

But of course as we have observed the Anglican denomination has been running in opposition to God and Scripture for many years now. It is not about, "will the last Christian switch out the light when leaving" - BUT the light is already out.

1Tim 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

"Sharp noted that the invocations frequently referred to Jesus or Jesus Christ, and said such prayers "display a preference for Christianity over other religions by the government.""

It is sad that many people do not know Jesus, but then it is even more sad that Jesus does not know them.

Matt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Another long dead sinner becomes another god for the roman catholics. wonder how many they've got now.

Exod 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

"The RCA established a full communion partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the United Church of Christ."

Paul wrote not all Israel are of Israel.

The true Christian agrees that not all Christians are Christian.

The Reformed Church is aware that not all Reformed are Reformed.

Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Customizing the Bible or religion is nothing new for the papal antichrist and his worldly cult.

They always use human contributions to try to make their religion acceptable.

Thats why the Roman Catholics do salvation by works, amongst other mortal products.

The Word of God has never been enough for the papists.

Scott, Perhaps the soldiers and others made the mistake of thinking they were "safe" on an American military base!!!

It would appear that in todays "multi-cultural" society guards with guns need to be posted everywhere people might gather together. EVEN on military bases.

"“Europe, at least the indigenous population of Europe, is dying.”
“That is one of the unsayable truths of our time. We are undergoing the moral equivalent of climate change and no one is talking about it."

I like this statement of Sachs.

But I think one of the big reasons for the decline in children in the UK, is that the stupid politicians have over-taxed the family out of existence.

Today there is no "family" mind set especially in the upper echelons of UK society where the rich and middle class mammon worshippers look for other ways to spend their earnings.

As for "religious" groups breeding a future generation, the majority of UK Christians are very much people of today and are just as concerned with middle class money matters as their secular counterparts are.

"he did not have a "direct line" to God and did not pray for guidance from the almighty. But he stressed: "I do have faith and it is important, yes"."

Now the problem with this statement is (1) No praying for guidance - is a political reasoning to reach the non-believers. NO Christian would ever admit to mortals being more important than God in their lives.
(2) Cameron states that "faith is important" to him. That is simply not enough. Faith is THE life of the Christian not just something which may have a slot in various other influences.

If Cameron is a "Christian" - then he is a Liberal Christian, not a true Christian.

Cameron describes his religion as quote; "describing his belief as “fairly classic Church of England faith," u/q

Nuff said!!!

"the Archbishop of Turin, said it was a dangerous step toward "individualism in prayer and faith." He objected that those who wished to remember the departed would have no memorial at which to pray."

Typical of Roman Catholic ignorance and heresy. They require something earthly and tangible to pray at.

Shouldn't pray for the dead anyway.

It is obviously very difficult for the papist to kick the idolatry habit.

Ex 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Psalm 109:5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

"Maine voters on Tuesday torpedoed a state law that would have allowed same-sex couples to marry, a heartbreaking defeat for the gay rights movement"

"Gay marriage has now lost in every single state -- 31 in all -- in which it has been put to a popular vote."

Excellent!
Excellent!

Its good to know that there are sufficient NORMAL people to kick this abomination out.
If only we could do this in Britain too.

Ian McKellen 'Proudly' GOES TO HELL.

Ro 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie,

Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

"The process leading to sainthood usually takes decades, but Pope Benedict XVI launched the beatification process for John Paul just two months after his predecessor's death on April 5, 2005."

Beside the fact that Roman Catholics making gods you can pray to out of dead sinners is a fantasy, fiction and a comedy, this latest fast-tracking of JP brings the whole corrupt heresy into the realm of rediculous delusion.

2Thes 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Tim 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

"belonged to a radical group that wants to establish a Muslim state in America."

Is this going to happen in America one day?
After all it only takes a little leaven to leaven the whole of a community.....

Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
