Yes God will not continue to bless a nation - or a church - which rejects Him and the Holy Bible.
The Democrat politicians especially are digging an eternal damnation for themselves.
Today western nations are attacking God directly for His laws and doctrines. All that they end up doing is establish their guilt as depraved and satanic sinners.
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
God gave them up!

This is not a criticism.
But why do you think she’s not pretty? Did the media condition you? Don’t answer.
This precioius young lady could be looking for attention her father failed to give her; a father not pleased with the way God created her. On the other hand, the majority of teens enchanted by the lewdness of the world which has captivated both parents, succumb to aesthetic syndromes. It is infecting us all via ungodly media.
Our shared thoughts about her beauty are damnable. It is heart revealing and causes great damage to people -male and female alike. NONE OF US seem to be pleased with the way God made us. The evil one has done this. Christians should make every attempt to abandon the world's standards of beauty and holiness. IT IS STRANGLING US! It is making us more incompatible.
Can you imagine someone changing their hair color to be accepted by another? And it works miracles temporarily! All he has to do is buy a bottle of hair color that is less expensive and won’t talk back. It is not just the ungodly. Christians are seduced by people of a certain color; e.g. hair color.
You've set a standard by your comment.
This ought not be. Read comment to SC

“ Great Sermon! ”
Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:(romans 3:29); For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath BROKEN DOWN THE MIDDLE WALL of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain ONE new man, so making peace;(Eph 2:14,15); For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? Gal 2:12-14); But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was TO BE BLAMED V.11 Lisa, don't lie there too long. Wilt thou be made whole?(Jn 5:6) Personally, I believe women should wear hats anytime they assemble at all times.

Have posters any idea how this thing spreads like wildfire in creating an unholy atmosphere into which ignorant, fleshly, unconverted, and prideful, and weak-minded, undiscerning individuals are drawn into? This is simply seducing advertisement designed to draw people into darkness.
Other students were approached about how they were dressed. However, this student made the news. Why? To increase followers perhaps.

Someone has infiltrated this Comments Board and is infecting readers who don’t know to keep their mouths shut AS THE LORD COMMANDED.

“Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?”

Matt 5:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Exod 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and MAKE NO MENTION of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

So Christians BEWARE. Don't facilitate Satan's agenda by spreading this evil.

B. McCausland, you have spoken well.

John Yurich purposely comes on to these threads to post the error that attending the Roman Catholic idolatry is acceptable.
JY is either a Jesuit working under cover in an insidious way to further the ends of the RC philosophy - Or he is simply being used by Satan and sin to poison true Christian witness.

Their response would be to reject the deception and post the Bible fact.
True Christians recognise the error, idolatry and false witness of the RCC and its Vatican and papal antichrist.

When a true Christian sees that which is false under the name of Christianity then it is their duty to contend just as the Bible itself does.

Satan regularly works in disguise as an angel or many other disguises, may the Lord give us backbone to fight back.

"Every true Christian" would cease feeding into JY's mantra. It is the same old grind.

A true Christian would SHAKE THE DUST OFF THEIR posts.

But it could be a problem with the intellect. Like many in RCC some things are drummed into them until they cannot reason.

SHAKE THE DUST off your posts and leave JY, like Ephraim, to his idols. You are just hardening his heart more and more and adding to his judgment.

I didn't say anything about not voting
So let me clarify a bit
in sharing in the paying of taxes of a community as a church, we are in a much better/stronger position to address government meetings and participate in the doings of government than if churches were freeloading off the taxes of others and putting themselves under the restrictions the state imposes on those with tax exempt status
Mike, I understood you and I agree with you. My thought was this - taxes might have a greater voice than voting. People don't hear ballots. There is no dialogue in a ballot.
But on the local level, at council meetings, etc. where local representatives are present, one can engage an entire community and effect change for the better.
Also, failure of the churches to pay taxes places a greater burden on homeowners. It is like a community without a business base to support municipal services.
If the government doesn't listen to people who don't work (to pay taxes), why should they listen to anyone else who does not pay them? Do government official listen to the poor like they tax payers (some)?

Money makes many friends of enemies.

I tend to agree with you
The local church has a community it is located in and ought to be a contributing part to the well being of the people who are our neighbors
that also frees us to have a voice, if we choose to use it, (to be salt and light) to have input in what our local government does and doesn't do, what it spends money on or doesn't
Something Imho far better than isolation
Now I'm seeing how the Church can influence the State; tax contribution. In this way, there would be no need to vote.

Huh?

The issue of separation of church and state would not be contestable at all. Our taxes would answer many things; like money (Ecc. 10:19).

John Yurich USA wrote:
Now look, the RCC has always worshiped the biblical and historical Jesus because it states in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds "We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God"(That is the biblical and historical Jesus). And the RCC believes in the biblical and historical Virgin Mary.
Mike,

WHY do you keep engaging in dialogue with John Y? There is nothing in scripture that tells us to believe in or upon anyone other than the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the history in and of the Bible and its prophecy; past, present, and future. We believe that there was a person named Mary, whom God chose to be the vessel bearing the humanity of our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe all that the Bible reveals about her and nothing beyond the written pages.
Perhaps John is only appearing to be RC, so that we can refute RCC beliefes better than he, himself, can. Otherwise, what we receive and understand is not given to those outside the kingdom. Believing IN and UPON a person is related inseperately to WHY and WHAT for?
Genuine faith results in proper application of revelation.

The RCC has always worshiped the biblical and historical Jesus as God and not a false jesus. If the Apostles and Nicene Creeds state "We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God" then that means the RCC worships the biblical and historical Jesus as God. If I participate only in the scriptural parts to the Mass then I am worshiping Jesus in spirit and truth as the scriptural parts to the Mass are accepted by Jesus as being true worship. Luther under the guidance of the Holy Spirit retained the Mass in the Lutheran Church minus the unscriptural parts. The reason I am choosing to attend the RCC is that I am more comfortable with liturgical worship.
John Y,

Luther is not the final authority. He knew 'in part' as all men do. He is only one Body part. Also, your "comfort" matters zilch when it comes to true worship.

There was a previous post about the Mass that related its participation to what Cain and Ahab did - offering what they thought was acceptable. To rebel against bringing nothing to God except what He requires is sin.

Another converting message causing me to confess ALL my sins; especially the sin of self-righteousness. He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8)

Good Morning Jim, and to other posters.

I a beginning to feel that you are causing us to reap judgment upon ourselves by having posters critize people articles are written about. Each day you have directed our attention toward WORLD EVENTS. Also, when we go to the link to read the full article, there is Las Vegas in printed form; a money making machine for Christians. Money making links beckon us to become distracted.
What's up with this? I hope you're not SELLING us out.

If I be lifted up ... I will draw all men to myself, is what the Lord says. This is so that we will be changed into his likeness (image) as described in 1 Corinthians 13.

Be careful that you don't cause us to become weary with the burdens of the evil one.

How about having us comment on a sermon you've heard; one that caused another conversion in YOUR HEART.

I hope you can say with the psalmist - Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities (Psalm 145:5)

This is what our fathers are teaching our college bound children. Do anything to become part of a group that contributes to your success in life. It is no different than any other organization with secrets. \
This makes it difficult for the young Christian student to live openly and freely among all men; and trust God for promotion.
