The Bible Christian takes Paul at his word thus - "as I delivered them to you." "WE" Do not try to change the Bible in the name of a locally manufactured "tradition" by post Bible sinners. "WE" stick to what GOD wrote!! Original Word: ]]παράδοσις, εως, ἡStrong's Number: 3862 parádosis (from 3844 /pará, "from close-beside" and 1325 /dídōmi, "give over") – properly, give (hand over) from close-beside, referring to tradition as passed on from one generation to the next. Although, what does your point have to do with Anders Breivik being a "Christian Extremist"? |

Rasle wrote: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the Bible AND TRADITION as interpreted by the Church are the final seat of authority in religion. JESUS CONDEMNED tradition as a rule for religious authority... If so, Jesus and his Apostle Paul are in disagreement:"Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you." -1 Cor 11:2 Who has heard and retained these extra-biblical traditions from the Apostle Paul, but St. Peter and his successors? How would the National Norwegian Church, the Lutheran Church, even know these traditions unless they borrowed them from St. Peter's Church, the RCC? |

Protestants have been crying wolf for 350 years that the Pope is "that [one patently evil] Antichrist." If this were true, it would be highly unlikely that Satan would use this same old tired tactic to attack Christ's Church in the 21st Century or later. (However it's true that some popes have been patently evil). Now, most Protestants (if they still care about this all-but-over academic disagreement) are weary and a bit sheepish and have down-graded their once-strident position (]]WCF 1646). They now are forced to subscribe to something akin to this toothless statement about the many, many subsequent popes since the 17th Century debate: "all popes are anti-Christs." Why did they change their foundational doctrine? |

Adam B. wrote: I notice people get caught up in bashing other denominations alot. There may be things we disagree on, but the bottom line is whether or not denominations believe that accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior is the ONLY way to heaven. Instead of bashing each others denominations we should be focusing our energy and talents on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and winning souls. Can I hear a hearty amen? |

Roman Catholics will continue to bend the knee to the (so-called) papal antichrist **(Matt 16:18 Jesus' and Peter's successor) AND the Scriptures **(as I did when converting: I knelt and kissed the Bible repenting of the unbiblical doctrines of Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide remaining in the PCA's confessions) AND join the growing list of (so-called) idolaters **(Ex 25:18-19 - make two cherubim of beaten gold) who have fallen on the (so-called) idolatrous **(Rev 12:1 - Mary with crown of 12 stars) (so-called) blasphemous **(Jn 6:53 - eat My flesh) sword **(of self-righteousness). Check. Check. Check. That Willow Creek leaders are teaming with the RCC is a blessing for them and their 1,000,000s of followers. |
