Building a mosque in an area that was invaded by Islamic fundamentalists is a sign of conquering. It could also be a sign that God is turning us over to our enemies due to our national sins. Nebuchadnezzar comes to mind.

It's "gay day" at Disney World everyday. Over half of the employees practice this deviant deathstyle. Shame on any Christian parent who would expose their child to this "fairy wonderland".

This is the most postive news story I've read today. Rick Warren needs to put down the pen, and pick up his sword (Bible). Perhaps the Lord would have mercy on him, and give Rick a theological alignment.

Laura Bush's comments come as no surprise. Her and her husbands liberal views were widely known, but naive' Christian's voted Republican ( not once but twice) for GW. Republican does not equate "Christian".

IMHO, Christians first have a duty to God. When they vote, it should be for the candidate who meets the biblical qualifications of a leader. If there is no leader who meets the bill, then don't vote for the lesser of two evils. It's still evil.

Choose men who fear God. And if the ticket gets split; then so be it.

"Easter" is named after a goddess. When you engage in false worship there is no end to the abominations.

“ Great Sermon! ”
An excellent presentation on the state of our union. May those with ears to hear, hear. May it bring conviction, repentance, faith and action. Faith without works is dead.

Christians must show up en masse to this killing center. If the Church in Houston sits idly by, while this abomination takes place, surely God will visit this wicked city. If thousands can show up for a Tea Party, surely thousands should show up for this. The mere presence of such a crowd could turn things around. Prayer PLUS action works.

Warning to Professing Christians

“ Great Sermon! ”
I've heard this Matthew 7 message, by different pastors over the years, but none can compare to Pastor Martin's expounding on this passage. I would go as far as saying, if a professing Christian is not moved by this, he has not the spirit of God. Powerfully convicting!

“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent message! This sermon makes one examine themselves before entering into prayer. It also answers the "why" some prayers are not heard by God.

This man is NOT a martyr, martyrs are witnesses for Jesus according to the Word of God. The story tells about the man, he was not very religious and sometimes attended the catholic church. Please go to Youtube, and type in Jim Pouillon. Hear him speak from his own lips regarding the person of Jesus Christ.

He was actually attending a fellowship in Owosso called "Abba's House".

It's a little disconcerting on the lack of media coverage from Christian sites in regard to the murder of Jim Pouillon. Here is a man who lived what he believed, was murdered in cold blood and the vast majority of Christendom goes along their merry way. Shame on us!

It's refreshing to see Christians put their faith into practice. The Church in America has allowed the filth to be paraded in our streets. Only we, by the power of the Holy Spirit can remove it. Faith without works is dead.

The swine flu scare is being propagated by big Pharma, the CDC, and the WHO. Anyone reading this, please do your homework. Don't buy into the hysteria. This is the same line they gave back in 1976. One person died of the swine flu in the US (after a forced march), twenty-five people died from the vaccine, and hundreds had permanent injuries. I would urge folks to go to Youtube and watch Mike Wallace's 60 Minutes 1979 special on the swine flu. It's a real eye opener.

I hope true discerning Christians aren't drinking this Kool-Aid. The Bible is very clear that the road is narrow, and the way is narrow, and there are very few that find life. If this poll was accurate, abortion would have been abolished long ago. The sad and hard truth is: the world and the church love access to abortion. They use chemicals, shots, devices of every sort, and "surgery" to limit their family size. And the sad part about it, the "church" folks use the same excuses for not bearing children as the world. However, the church folks use words like "stewardship" and "responsibility" to cloak their despising of God's blessings. As long as those who claim to know Christ continue with their anti-child mentality, abortion will never end in this nation.

Rick Warren, by his deeds, has an anti-Christ spirit. He has no love for the persecuted church, yet wants to spread his version of "luv" to the muslims. Can two walk together unless they agree? No! So apparently he must have some agreement to walk hand in hand with those who renounce Christ as Lord and Savior. Christians should flee from this Charlatan and his teachings.

John,

I once held on to your NT belief's and neglected the OT.It was during a shaking by the Lord, that came an awakening to the whole counsel of God; which includes both Testaments. Thus, I began to have a better understanding of the nature and character of God. I submit to you that He changest not.

"The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, and giveth wisdom unto the simple" Ps. 19:7

To John K of Wales,

I wouldn't consider someone who has murdered 60,000 preborn children as one of God's elect, no more than I would consider Hitler, Stalin, Pol pot et al as His elect.

God's people can mose assuredly pray for deliverance from the wicked; it's biblical, and even necessary.

I think where folks are going awry on this subject is "our" enemies versus "God's" enemies. We are not to avenge our personal enemies, the Word is very clear on that.

Our loving Father in heaven does love mercy, but He also loves justice. The two attributes of God are perfectly compatable. For example we should hate abortion, because we love babies. And we should love what God loves and hate what He hates.

With a modern day church filled with psychology that's nicer than Jesus, the whole concept of praying for justice, is anathema.

But as stated before, mercy and justice are compatable. For a tyrant who is bent on bloodshed, I will most assuredly show compassion for the innocent, and pray that the guilty would be punished. How, when, and if God answers that prayer is His business.

Answers are:
#1 Certainly you may
#2 Yes, I'll try
#3 Yes
Now let me ask you a question or two:
#1 What on earth is imprecatory?
#2 Have you, at any time in your Christian life, when you have been having sweet communion with your Father in heaven, being a man full of the Holy Ghost and of faith, and being led by the Spirit in all that you do and say and think and pray, when you have been in prayer has the Spirit ever led you to pray along the lines of: "I hate them with a perfect hatred" or words to that effect, including, "Destroy the sinners, O Lord, and get them out of my hair" or some such thing, like, "That chappie down the road deserves to die, Lord, why not top him, and I don't care how you do it." ????????
Actually yes, I have been led by the Spirit of the Lord to pray imprecatory ( curses) upon the wicked. Not my enemies, mind you, but God's enemies. Such prayers include, "break their teeth, O'Lord". "Let the pit that they have dug, may they fall in to it". I mainly pray such prayers for those who continually oppress and persecute the defenseless; such as those who murder babies for a living, or wicked leaders. I pray, " Do whatever you must too stop this/them". God has heard and acted on a number of occasions.

Excuse me....may I interrupt this discussion, which is apparently going down the trail of free will versus election ( imagine that )

Could an anti -imprecatory prayer person please answer my question regarding imprecatory prayers? Wouldn't the comforting Psalms, such as Psalm 23, be null and void if the imprecatory Pslams are?

I would also urge everyone to listen/ watch Pastor Alan Cairns comments in regards to Imprecatory Prayers ( see on home page)

Mr. Dispy, you are trying to convince a bunch of people that say they are followers of Christ, except when it's more convenient to fall back on the OT for their own vindication. Any time a "christian" calls for assassination, is wrong. The "tea baggers" will never understand that!!!
You may want to reconsider using the term " tea baggers". It's actually a profane term used by sodomites.
