Yes-i think you are right. I heard an explaination as to why the original disciples met on the first day of the week rather than the Sabbath (fri-Sun) and it was that they could not take up a collection on the Sabbath. Now i chose to meet with my brethren on Fri morning, and also chose to not buy/sell on the sabbath (fri-Sun). I have certainly been blessed, but i would not look down on another who chose Sunday. But as far as i know the Sabbath has never been changed-at leasy not in my bible (KJV).
I have never come across this sect or cult-I do not believe that the use of this is essential to salvation (for it is by faith that i have been saved through grace, not by works it is the gift of G-d). But-by study (being Beran), and by mixing with others of Judaistic tradition. Your Christian faith has been much affected by tradition over the years-I ask you to do some research and pray about this before rejecting what i say as false-hood.
That is because Jesus is not the true name of the mesiah -his true name is Yashua-No i will not confess that which i have found to be untrue. However-i will use the term Jesus if it helps a weaker brother. But that is an Anglicanisation of a hellenised version of Yashua.

Consider this-you will know them by their fruits-Love is one of the fruits which allow us to recognise each other-do you find this gentlemans comments to radiate love-if not then abandon his advice. Listen to your Jesus and what he says-now there is one thing that i noticed from your post, you said that each day you went and asked Christ to forgive you. If you are born again-reckon this...you were forgiven for all sins at the cross (those done, those current and those to come-the slate has been wiped clean). But you must also reckon this, you are crucified with Christ (see Galatians 2;20)-so now John you no longer live. When the spirit brings ideas of sin to you-confess them to him and know that he has already forgiven you-but that you are powerless to do anything about them. Leave them to him-he will show you how to walk away from all sin. It does not matter about the church you attend-your Jesus/Spirit will sort that out in good time. I would consider Gentiles grafted into the Jewish root to be followers of the sect of the Nazarene. Yes-you are absolutley correct-many/most of the Jewish root were ignorant of their Messiah and util recently have remained so. If you look at Nicodemas I believe he was a high ranking Jew who recognised Yashua as messiah, but was still missing the mark in some way...He had to be born again.And so even in messianic circles there are folk who recognise the mesiah but have not experienced the new birth. Now I will give you a clue-because this is becoming complicated and i want to simplify-we must experience death before we can experience life-total death to self and this can only occur via the cross (see Galatians 2 vs 20)-
Not sure if this is helpful-But when i was first born again I had faith but lacked absolute assurance. I could not believe that G-d could love me (a sinner) that much. I felt totally unworthy. Part of this was Satanic attack, part was that although G-d had saved me I had not yet learnt to forgive myself.Now this sounds crazy but when i was first born again I was confused-you show me a believer who goes through the new birth unscathed-There was no-one around to show me the truth-The L-rd made me find a book by JC Ryle called Holiness, and he discusses this really well. Eventually i relaxed (it was as easy as that)-I now realise that he saved me by his grace, through faith(it is a gift of G-d). But i think that there are times when under attack etc that this can be difficult.
John-fundamentalist proestant church may be just as bad as any other church-When you pray to your Jesus-where does he guide you to worship. As a born again believer you will probably realise that Marioltry (the worship of Mary) is not in the Fathers will. But the folk in your church may not see this yet-Does your Jesus tell you to stay and witness the truth to them..I have heard sound advice that says stay where you are and preach the gospel until they ask you to leave. If you are truly born again you will find the worship of Mary abhorent, and they probably will eventually ask you to leave when you challenge this.
I know that Yashua (the Jewish messiah)was indeed the perfect son of Yahweh (the G-d of the Jews). He was born of a virgin as prophesied in the tenach. He lived an absolutely sinless life, was crucified in payment of my sin. On the third day he rose again and now lives at the right hand of Yaweh and interceeds for me. I was crucified with Christ for I could no longer live and this I recieve by G-ds grace-(by faith). I did not chose this but was chosen by him.However-I was adopted into the Jewish family of believers and I find it very difficult to fellowship with people who say they are born again but cannot accept the family (Israel) of their adoption.
I guess there are some real regenerate folk out there(and yes they may well be sat in baptist churches)-but on the whole I am pretty lonely. I have a sister in my village-neither of us are any way perfect-but we think absolutely on the same lines(sometimes she gets to a truth before me and occasionally the other way around)-We are born into the same family..We show the family likeness-my baptist pastor well he is a lovely man and far more perfect than i will ever be...but there is no discernment (and there are so many false teachers out there), no understanding about the vileness of sin...how can I fellowship with a man who has the wrong spirit...at the end of the day its not the perfection of what you see, or of the theology but the relationship that you have, and that can only come by having the indwelling holy spirit (whereby we can cry Abba Father).
Before i was truly born again i accepted that most of my baptist brethren were also born again. After I got born again-I gave my testimony and found that most of these folk had no idea what i was talking about (im talking about the time when i was shown exactly how evil and sinful I was and that my being was only acceptable to Yaweh by his sons righteous perfection and by my death with his son). They clung on to a gospel which was based on saying salvation via the sinners prayer (never mentioned in scripture). Their lives were unregenerate-and there was very little evidence of the fruit. They had no discernment as to false teaching and would on the whole deny that their G-d spoke directly to them. I cannot judge the state of their spirituality-but I found that i was unable to fellowship with these people. I do have a few contacts which understand exactly where i am coming from--strangely these contacts are also being led to the belief in the Judaistic truth and the rejection of Christianity as a false religion. THe two leadings are not from the same spirit I think.
Ok this I have against Christianity-My Father in heaven is perfect-If you read the OT you will see that he abhors the mixing of that which is his with that which is of the world. Judaism was created by him and Yashua (you call him Jesus) is the completion of that which was created by him. He did not ordain your festivals in scripture (Christmas is a Christianised Pagan festival, Easter of Ishtar). You get the Messiahs name wrong. Many of you worship Mary (a false Godess)and then you join together in many events. Most "Christians" that I know have never been born again, they use the term incorrectly-they then learn theology (calvinism etc) and this tickles the pride (but a true follower will hate pride as much as my Father hates pride). My Father looks at the heart-the regenerated heart has been to the cross, the self has died and the temple is filled with the spirit of Yashua (the ruach). The spirit blossoms into the fruit and reveals love, joy peace etc. when i read your websites all i see is derision-this is because the spirit is wrong. I have come from an evangelical/baptist past for which i now repent.
But why would G-d who is above Hellenistic philosophy choose a Hellenised form of Joshua??? this does not make sense. In fact as the family were simple folk they would probably not have any concept of hellenised philosophy. May i ask you to consider an alternative explaination. His name was Hebraic (Yashua) and was then Hellenised to Iosius when the Greek scribes wrote the scriptures, which was then changed to Jesus much later.
Have you ever wondered why he was given a Greek name when I believe the common tongue was Aramaic and those around would have held to the Hebrew??? Wouldnt that have been a little odd? What is the Aramaic form of Joshua???
Bless you sir-I am not a theologian. I am a follower of Yashua the Messiah, all the theology that i know (which is not a lot) was shown to me through reading the scriptures by the Holy spirit. I started in the Egypt of Christianity and I have gradually rejected the whole lot as false religion. I have a huge peace as I have thrown it out and a joy beyond description. Shalom
Before I was born again i used to fast to make my prayers more weighty. After i gave up for a while-Now I fast in attempt to allow my Father to be totally in control of my body each day-So some weeks i may fast lots, other weeks i may not fast at all-It depends upon his command. Strangely it often corresponds to crises in Israel.
Im sorry but after much consideration i think Christianity is totally fake. This was after being within the Church for over 20 years-I finally got born again 4 years ago and when I testified to the experience no-one knew what on earth I was talking about-They were too busy discussing Calvinism and their latest evangelism projects. GUYS-you are born again into an OLIVE tree, not a Christmas tree. The true faith is JUDAISTIC-Yashua (you call him Jesus) is the messiah of the Jews. In G-ds eyes Christianity is just as man made as all the other religions.
This is stupid-the sabbath is friday night until Saturday (Sundown). I shop on Sunday as a protest against Constantines meddling. G-d never instructed a change of sabbath day-it has always been and always will be Fri-Sat.
