I hope these police officers were all offered a tract. When I went into a Spiritualist Church as a young Christian, with a stack of scripture verses to show them their error, I was thrown out physically and the police were called. So when the police van arrived I spent some time witnessing to the police officer, and I hope he got saved.
That is totally illogical that Spiritualist Church would get so bent out of shape about having salvation tracts left there.

Every Catholic Bishop in the United States who supports Democrat politicians should be excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

My Baptist Church is going to have an indoor Baptism via immersion in December at an indoor hotel pool. I may attend if I know who is getting Baptized.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
(1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
(2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
(3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
(4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Another great gospel text, John.
Those 2 Bible passages above were 2 of the passages that were read during the sermon yesterday at my Baptist Church.

Today at my Baptist Church during Adult Sunday School it was part 4:The Decline of the Medieval Church. Then during worship the sermon was given by Pastor Neil and was titled "Find Your Place in the Gospel" and was from 1 Peter 3:18; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Isaiah 40:6. The sermon was about the gospel message is that salvation is received by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. Then after the sermon Holy Communion was celebrated.

Just another stark reminder this world is evil, mankind is evil. Politics is evil- BOTH parties. The Righteous Judge of ALL the earth is coming again, and He WILL judge righteously.
"Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save." Psalm 146:3
“Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” Acts 17:31
There are a few bad apples in the Republican Party who are really Democrats because they support abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage. But the majority of those in the Republican Party adhere to the Republican Party platform by being against abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage. So if the Republican Party platform is against abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage then the Republican Party is the party of Jesus and not evil. The Democratic Party is evil and the party of Satan.

I agree about the democratic party but the republican party is far from the party of Jesus
I didn't state anything about Republican politicians. I stated that the Republican Party platform is against abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage. So that means that the Republican Party is the party of Jesus. The vast majority of Republican politicians adhere to the platform of the Republican Party by being against abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage.

This proves that the Democratic Party is the party of Satan. And thus the Republican Party is the party of Jesus because the Republican Party platform is against abortion, homosexuality and homosexual marriage.

My Baptist Church is monitoring if any adult or kid who was present at AWANA last Wednesday(where a kid who had contracted the virus was present) has contracted the virus. But right now my Baptist Church is planning to have in person worship next Sunday.

You mean that some churches are sensible and don't want their laity killed by the virus? Good for them

Yesterday at my Baptist Church at 10:15 AM Pastor Steve announced that he had received word that a kid from AWANA last Wednesday had contracted the virus and that everyone except the Pastors and the worship team was to go home and watch the service live on YouTube. They are monitoring the situation this week to ascertain if in person worship will take place next Sunday.

It's really dishonest not to say it's over. Not only did Biden get the majority of vote but he got enough electorial votes to become President.
Yes, we should pray that Trump becomes Christian. It's sad that this particular prayer hasn't been answered. It is no surprise, however.
It is strange that I am the only one so far who has commented on the article yesterday about churches return to online only worship.

Today at my Baptist Church during Adult Sunday School was Part 3 of The Medieval Church(The Crusades and the Inquisition). Then at 10:10 AM Pastor Steve announced that he received word that a kid from AWANA last Wednesday has the virus. Pastor stated that everyone except the Pastors and the worship team was to go home to watch the service live on YouTube. The sermon was given by Pastor Neil and was titled "Finding Your Place In The Mission" from Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8. The sermon was about how everyone who has received Jesus as their Lord and Savior is a missionary to get people saved.

Been in Baptist churches for over four decades and the only place I heard the terms "embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior" came from you.
Pure and simple Catholics teach, as our sisters MS and ladybug often point out, a false gospel. One of works and doctrines of men. One cannot be a truly born again Christian and stay a Catholic. Paul puts an Anathema on those who teach a gospel of works or as the RCC calls it sacraments . Salvation is of the Lord and when He imparts spiritual life into His children they learn to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them.
Actually my Baptist Church states receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. But embrace means the same as receive. At present I am really only a Baptist because since the virus started in March I have not attended Saturday Vigil Mass at the local Catholic parish.

Dr. Tim, I am not hedging my bets by being both Baptist and Catholic because I only accept the Baptist/Bible doctrine of salvation that salvation is only by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Thanks, Dr Tim. I might drop in from time to time here. News and politics and lockdown matters are interesting and real active to us all, but maybe just distractions to real matters of salvation and Christian service.
Sorry to jump on you right out of the gate, John Y. Just can’t let something like the mindset of inclusion go... This mindset of inclusion, or having it the way God says it AND the way we want it is dangerous and destructive.
Notice in 1 Cor 10:21: “ye cannot”. Hard to get around that statement. Much of our problems stem from trying to have both the way we want things and the way God says they are.
Naturally I only accept the Baptist doctrine of salvation that states salvation only comes by embracing Jesus as Lord and Savior and trusting in Jesus alone for salvation.

I am a Baptized Catholic who embraced Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I am also a Baptized Baptist. So I am both a Catholic Christian and a Baptist Christian.
