I don't think Dirk Yoder is trying to rewrite the article, just clarifying the common misused and misunderstood word "church" as it usually refers to a building, and, since reference is made to a building where worship is supposedly conducted, then the, or a, proper word should be temple.

Again, to get the proper understanding substitute "the temple" for "church."

Young evangelicals are leaving the temple...

Dirk Yoder was perusing a Countryside magazine at the local Barnes and Noble and came across an article about raw milk and stuff, which contained the following ruling from the high priest:

"(1) no, plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to own and use a dairy cow or a diary (sic) herd;
"(2) no, plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to consume the milk from their own cow;
"(3) no, plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to board their cow at the farm of a farmer;
"(4) no, the Zinniker plaintiffs' private contract does not fall outside the scope of the state's police power;
"(5) no, plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to produce and consume the foods of their choice;

Now Dirk Yoder buys and drinks raw milk and Dirk Yoder really doesn't care what saith man. So, for those who fret over man's constitution and the political religion and what man is going to rule over them, it may be a little wise to consider what the high priest saith.

Not your pope wrote:
Mr. Yoder:
Yours is the reasoning of the likes of Joseph Smith, founder of the cult of Mormonism.
Whereas, this is a biblical portrait of Protestants and Catholics:
"Pelikan takes a highly sympathetic and even irenic view of Roman Catholicism, seeing the Roman Church as the mother in whose arms the Protestant baby rocks."
Dr. Pelikan correctly understands that Christ has not zero, not many but one Church.
First, don't call me Mr. (Master).

Second, many heathen folks are wise enough to see Protestantism and Romanism as violent cults. Many heathen folks also share my reasoning that murder is wrong. Mormonism, by the way, resembles Rome and is merely part of it, another daughter if you will, not a baby, as with Protestant daughter, who is no baby either. You can throw in the JW's too. All comprise the whore seeking control of the beast, another violent religious system.

This Pelikan character is correct in that there is one church. Just as there is one church, there is also one false church.

May we pray for our brethren in this land as they have lost their Caesar, God's minister.

Being a member doesn't really matter, as he clearly supports the cult. Old Ian has a mouthful of spew against those who support and hold hands with the Roman institution even though they are not members.

Protestantism and Romanism are two sides of the same coin, fighting, or pretending to fight, over who controls the beast. They are both the same whore, drunken on the blood of the saints.

I like that picture of Ian receiving the golden calf award. Doesn't surprise me at all.

Thank you, Dirk Yoder was not aware of this. Didn't care for Ian much anyway since he likes to ride the beast. Got some more info on this Order he is in?

Be very caeful of men like these because they talk out of both sides of their mouths.
These Men can not serve two masters according to the scriptures and since Ian Paisley has a brother hood with his Orange Masonic Order and since Bob Jones Can't get enough Masons on his board and since Chuck Phelps LOves a man that can rape a girl so much that he would protect and hide him from police, I say they are all together in their demonic brother hood of luficer in their activities.

"they had not filed their exemption paperwork"

Believers and their children are already exempt from attending the services of false religions. Don't need permission from the devil on how raise your children.

Like the Catholics and Protestants.

What all Christians should know is that left vs right politics are merely the two heads of the same monster. It is the counter reformation globalists setting up the Hegelian dialectic so that the resulting "compromise" will knock as many Christians as possible off their unchanging foundation into the grey abyss in an attemp to be "reasonable". Its a trick to wash the belief or confidence that one can know right from wrong from the mind; which is the definition of "brainwashing".

How interesting, not much response to a brother being terrorized and in need. Dirk Yoder has your support and will try to bear your burden. I wonder also how many families have been torn apart by these devils, and how many suicides result from such terrorism. Daniel, Dirk will contact you offline.

Our worship has just been interrupted by "certified mail" today. Kinda a hard to focus on Bible reading now. How many brothers and sisters are undergoing the wrath of these evildoers?

Apparently some folks on here need some chastening, and Dirk Yoder will be pleased to perform the action in order to bring his children in the Lord to repentance and to prevent future disobedience. With so many possible devices, it is quite overwhelming as to which one to use - stick, whip, steel bar, metal wire, barbed wire, baseball bat, taser, hand? Oh my! Perhaps a combination approach may be best.

Next week would be a good time since you all will be celebrating Native American Slaughter Day.

Who wants to be first?

If you really believe that, then why did you post anything at all? You have nothing to report if you really know nothing.
But actually, you're still claiming to know something – that we (you and I) know nothing! So that is self-refuted.
Philosophical meanderings sure do boggle the mind.

Do take note of the quotes, though.

Oh, I wonder, how do we know that we are all really here, and that all this life and stuff is nothing but a dream?

Dirk, if that's supposed to be a parody, it's poorly devised. And if it's not, then it's merely pathetic.
I didn't ask those question just to bait you. I was hoping for a thoughtful answer, not sarcastic mockery, which is sinful.
Have and do the philosophers ever find answers to satisfy them? I think, and I think that you think, and I think that we all think, that the only thing we do "know" is that we all know nothing.

How do you know? And why is making widgets less "meaningful" than, say, carpentry? How can one lawful vocation be meaningful, & another not?

Do the math: if one sleeps 8 hrs, works 8 hrs, that leaves say 2 hrs for commuting, another hr. for meals, which means one has 5 or so hrs left to read the Bible. Sounds like plenty to me. Not a good reason, I think.

How do you know that I don't know? And why would making widgets be more meaningful or equally meaningful than carpentry?

Lawful vocation??

Your presumptuous, question-begging mathematical example is fallacious. However, even with the so-called 5 hours or so left, one will easily use up that time by studying and meditating upon man's law, because ignorance of the law is no excuse, and, of course, to obey God is to obey sinners and their commandments.
