“ Great Sermon! ”
Praise be to God for leading you to struggle and seek guidence in these matters.. I have struggled with this for many years and with much physical suffering in my body the past few years I became disilussioned with the teachings in my church,(which became obsessed with the 'Gifts of the Spirit' and healing- and prosperity etc) but to hear it explained through the Word was what I craved to hear.. I might not get better, but finally seeing that its about 'Love' and His glory makes so much more sence. Thankyou Brother.. keep searching please. Andrew.

I really apreciate your clear teachings, i find it hard to get good bible instruction and fellowship here in France. Sermonaudio has been a God send to me, and the Bible based teaching of your church has been exactly what i needed to hear during a rough few years.. keep up the good work. (Because i need it 😉 ) Andrew.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I enjoyed this talk from a very clear speaker. We need to guard carefully what we say, especially when it comes to casting doubt on The Word of God. Satan asks Did God really say and we similarly cast doubt on The Bible if we say that things or renderings are wrong and this is a stumbling block to others. The AV is a literal translation free from the influence of the corrupt critical texts. Every word of God is pure . . . Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:5-6) - let us not change them or their meaning.

This man uses the real Bible - the Authorised Version. He says The greatest need of Great Britain - revival in the Church - I agree. Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. (Psalms 80:19) Pray that God will turn us.

“ He is taking Chan's words out of context ”
If you take literally what Francis Chan is saying, then yes, Matthew Henry has a point. But if Chan is saying we should let the Spirit work, it does not mean we should literally do nothing. Even Chan is working hard as well, giving his money away, helping and building up others. It's the same principle with the other arguments used.

“ Great Sermon! ”
'The Line' Part 1 & 2 encompass everything we need to know about union life, which is the Christ life. Dan Stone presents an extraordinary body of work here for all pilgrims who have moved on from Christ for me, to Christ in me and Christ as me. True words from the Holy Spirit to be heard here. Thank you to the late Dan Stone.

Waiting for His Salvation
Todd Nibert

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you Pastor Nibert for your wonderful sermons. Although I'll need to listen to this one again and again, I'm eternally grateful that it helps immensely to clear up the things in Christ that must be waited for. That is, although the works of God have been finished since before the foundation of the world, and in the history of Christ's first coming to Earth, we must yet wait in time. You have no idea how much anxiety this issue of eternity and time has caused me. While my anxieties about these things are not now instantly cured, this sermon will go a long way toward that end. Thank you, Pastor Nibert. Keep up the excellent work.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you, Pastor Peacock. I encourage you to keep on keeping on. You first came to my attention when I searched Sermon Audio for "rightly dividing" the Word a couple of weeks ago. The search returned very few "hits", apart from your "rightly dividing" series. It's amazing that rightly dividing the Word is such a well kept secret. Your sermons have been of immense help to me. Thank you. This sermon is particularly heart-softening and, I hope, heart-changing. I'll be keeping it as a favourite to listen to again and again. This sermon sheds great light for me upon sanctification and the Christian works spoken of in the Bible. I had been thoroughly confused on the subject until hearing your sermon. Thank you for being a glimmer of light in a dark world, even among the Church(es). I'll write you personally in the near future. Yours Sincerely; Andrew.

Sermon:
Mark Driscoll Does it Again
Dr. Paul J. Dean Jr.

“ Unbelievable ”
The bottom line is that Jesus Christ, in His earthly incarnation, was fully God and fully Man. As mere human beings, we can't fully understand the dual natures of Christ existing in one Person. Nor are we meant to fully understand it. The idea that any pastor would use silly, unrealistic hypotheticals to try to shed light on the particulars of Christ's earthly existence is both blasphemous and utterly pointless. God has a reason for not describing Jesus' childhood and maturation in detail---we are not meant to know those details. Speculation on the life of Christ is simply blasphemous. The tedious hair-splitting between "mistakes" and "sins" is stupid. God requires perfection. Jesus is the onlu Person who ever lived Who was Perfect, and being imperfect, sinful humans can't understand that with any reliability. It seems that Driscoll is just trying to spit out something New. It's a gambit for attention. May God be merciful to people who butcher the Scriptures.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Paul Washer's point earlier in the sermon about the Baptists' neglect of God's sovereign power to save the sinner from the power of sin in this present life through regeneration and the creation of a new creature is very interesting. I love listening to Baptist preachers, including Spurgeon and the Primitive Baptists. I'm not yet sure I'd go as far as to say their preaching verges on heresy; yet I'm almost always left with the impression that they preach a salvation (with respect to the present life) that is a self-improvement program, improving the old man, and denying the power of God; or as Washer says, one where the saved sinner begrudgingly denies the sin that he really loves while trying to do righteousness; in other words, a salvation by the works of the flesh. I may be understanding wrongly. I hope I'm wrong. But I'm always left with that impression. I'm thankful at least that the Baptists have shown me that although I am saved, I am not yet regenerated, because I know in my heart that God would not do all that He has done, then leave me to my own devices in this regard. I yearn for His regenerating power to come in and do its work in me. I know, as Washer implies, that regeneration is a totally radical and supernatural change; and I know I have not yet been a recipient,
