"More than half of young adults have never heard of the King James Version of the Bible, according to a new survey."This is Jim Lincoln's fault. No wonder the country and the church are going to the dogs. Actually it is an interesting statistic that during a time of rampant Liberalism and atheism, - The Good Book that is least in evidence is the KING JAMES. Whilst all these MODERN VERSIONS are obviously having no effect upon the young, or anybody else either. Jim better change his tune. |

"There are few of us who believe it is sinful to sing hymns ... If worship in other (churches) is acceptable to God how can it be unacceptable in our church?"""IF"" But can you prove it?? The article says they are doing this to try and "increase" membership - THAT being so the idea behind it is man-centric NOT God-centric!!! God will not accept that! In a time of increasing Liberalism and Arminianism it is sad to see the old Reformed churches in such decline. But what the FCOS is depicting here today, is closer liaison with the likes of the Church of Scotland, - which used to be Christian BUT is now mainly all Liberal. Whats next? Women in the pulpit? |

"Swilley, 52, said that he has known he is gay since childhood, but that he never thought he would live openly." Another church that is not a church. Lust instead of God's Scripture. Satan wins again. As we observe the church disappear from western society, we see the alternative evil replace it. Sodom and Gomorah is a church near you in these end times. Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, The wrath of God is the sign we perceive in these abominations today. |

Mike wrote: Looks like Mr. Blunt inadvertently pointed out that context matters, though it was hardly his intent. Indubitably "context matters" in dealing with doctrine and truth. The version problem is easily solved by asking, "which version of Greek Text and English translation did GOD Himself use and bring into common use 400 years ago?" Now why change a successful combination of divine and translation? Do we doubt divine. - No! Are we better educated today than in previous centuries. - Yes! Then why do some people imply that we cannot read the KJB? Whom do we trust? "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." John 16:13. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Easliy, the church would have been built better and faster, if a better Bible was in use! Jim Lincoln. More blasphemy eh Jim??? Christians believe that God builds His Church and none shall be lost. You appear to be favouring the papist salvation by human effort. Indeed by education of sinner? That discounts the work of the Holy Spirit. Jim. Here is the good news from the Word of God KING JAMES VERSION. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. |

"I don't know how God creates. I don't know how we got here," he continued, wondering what God might tell him after he dies. "If God's like, 'Yup, you were a monkey once,' I'll be shocked, but I'll be cool with it." Someone else who does not know/believe the Bible. "Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." 1. God created. 2. God created man in HIS OWN IMAGE. Where does the animal kingdom come into this simple statement. Evolution implies that death came before sin anyway, therefore clearly these folks cannot receive the truth. |

Jordan wrote: Sorry, Wayfare, but you're simply wrong. The Greek in verse 18 is (transliterated.....) monogeneis theos, not monogeneis huios Whose wrong? I stick to the Greek Text which GOD has been using these last four centuries and beyond. As Lockerman has pointed out you appear to be using the Nestle Aland, UBS text which came from such heretics as Westcott and Hort. This is the dubious one used by modern versions. Thus do I use the KING JAMES VERSION of the Word of God. Not these impoverished modern versions which lack God's centuries of approval. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: John 1 18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.---]NASB[ This is incorrect translation by the NASB.The Greek here is "begotten Son" The NASB has not only changed the original Greek but has also changed the doctrine at this point. KJV 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. This is a more accurate translation of the Greek. |

" Mrs Malik said: “We in Britain need to take a different direction from others in Europe and to accept the veil as part of a modern British way of life.”"Thats interesting! After centuries of our Christian based and traditional history "WE" in Britain are being told what to do, as a quote, "British way of life." How curious it is that these peoples come to our countries for a better way of life for them and their children - only to try to make us like the country and culture they have left, which obviously does not measure up to their "better way of life" Dr. Sookhdeo is clearly correct in his conviction that muslims really do not want to nor intend to integrate into western societies. They intend to take over! Now we see what Mrs Merkel in Germany means about multiculturalism failing. It is a daft Liberal idea anyway! |

"It shows that as well as flying the homosexual rainbow flag at least once a year, Brighton and Hove Council also hoists the Transgender Pride flag" Brighton is an evil anti-Christian town. Last year they went to an old folks home for missionaries, to try to get them to acknowledge sodomite rights before allowing funding. So its no surprise that they now fly the flags of idolatrous religions and the abomination. Satan has taken over in Brighton! May God have mercy on their souls. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. |

"You can demean Jesus on South Park [but] you cannot demean Muhammad -- and the news media continue to miss the difference.""Yes Liberalism the neo-religion of Satan and his servants enables the reprobates to publically reject Christianity and make Liberal churches apologise for Christianity, whilst politicians and bureaucrats use this mind set to support atheism, secularism and of course the muslims. Thus Liberalism proves itself to be anti-Christian. As for the media - the anti-Christian theme is like a free-for-all for them to come up with all the; "works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal 5) And of course we must not forget the "politically correct" nature of their output. 2Pet 2:10 "But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities." |

"warning that "fair and independent courts" were at stake"What is "fair and independent" about rejecting the Law of God? What is "fair and independent" about justifying that which is abnormal, perverted and depraved? God's Law states "13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Lev 20. |
