“ Great Sermon on unity with Christ Jesus! ” Could this be the underlying truth that belies the Genesis 3 deception at the heart of The DaVinci Code? Jesus wasn't married (one flesh) to one particular woman, because Jesus IS married, to His church. :-)
“ Great Sermon on Unconditional Election! ” If you were kidnapped and being abused, but you knew for sure that the police would rescue you, wouldn't you prefer to be rescued on Monday rather than on Friday? Think of all the abuse you would avoid, and all the worry your loved ones would be spared. So, even if unconditional election is the Truth, don't let that stop you from speaking Scripture.
“ Great Sermon! ” Giving up has been the defining characteristic of my life, and I never even knew it until I got saved. Thank God for sermons like these. Walk in humility, press on through the power of the Holy Spirit, walk in integrity, be realistic heralds of the Gospel. Good teaching for a life of ministry.
