I wish our country would ban other 'holy' books besides the Bible. Heck, we won't even protect our borders from people who want to destroy our country. I guess it's too much to ask. |

I totally agree with you. This is a stupid bill. No wonder we're losing the battle on abortion when lame-brained Christians think like this. |

Robert E. Lee was an Episcopalian too, Yurich. Now if you want to tell me he wasn't a Unitarian, you won't get an argument from me. So what if FDR was an Episcopalian? So is John Shelby Spong. FDR was a liberal, and liberal mainliners are Unitarians, basically. Ever talk to a liberal Methodist, Episcopalian or Presbyterian? They could give a whack less about Christ's atoning work, His Diety, the Trinity, man's sinful condition or the inerrancy and infallibility of Scripture. They believe that everyone is going to heaven. Ever looked at a UMC hymnal? Well, I have. They have quotes from the Dalai Lama and other one worlders in there, because they believe that ALL RELIGIONS ARE EQUAL. They're no more committed to Christianity than Hindus are to a Big Mac. FDR was a communist. Do you really think he thought that Christ was the only way to salvation, or believed in the Trinity or the absolute authority of scripture? Huh? Like modern liberal Episcopalians, he may have given Christ some lip service, but his real religion was as R.J. Rushdoony called, the Religion of Humanity. And that's what unitarianism is. It isn't a denomination. It's a worldview. Get a clue. |
