Please don't misunderstand. The issue is over what God hath said. i.e. Homosexuals can do everything others can do today, the issue is the term marriage because it is tied back to what God hath said and they want to challenge that.
But, you say the baker should refuse to bake a cake for such a event. What about the facility (owned by a realtor)that rents their building out for events? What about the Limo service (car dealer) that rents for events?
It looks to me that bakers can't win either way. If don't make a cake they get sued, if they make the cake "christians" say they are condoning the event. i.e. we seem to hold bakers to a higher standard then we hold the rest of society. Do we expect realtors not to sell to a gay couple? Do we expect car dealers not to sell to a gay couple? Do we expect bakers not to sell to gay couples? hmm!
