The Chinese government, as the article stated, "wiped off" the First Commandment. In September 2018, the Roman Catholic papacy (which previously "wiped off" the Second Commandment and split the Tenth Commandment) made a provisional accord with the Chinese government, allowing Chinese authorities to select Catholic Bishops. And in our own country, the entire Ten Commandments granite monument set up at the Alabama Heflin-Torbert Judicial Building by State Supreme Court Judge Roy Moore was "wiped off" in 2003 by order of a federal court citing the US Constitution's First Amendment. How is it that a nation's First Amendment trumps the Ten Commandments of Almighty God? "And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God." (Exodus 31:18 KJV) The very honorable Judge Moore was later removed from office for judicial misconduct for failing to comply with the order of the federal court per Wikipedia. In these days, who is willing to stand as did Judge Roy Moore? |

An excellent explanation of Daniel 9:26-27 KJV Pastor Reed unravels the confusion caused primarily by modern bible translations which re-word and teach an anti-Christ peace treaty, etc. But a simple reading of the KJV verses Dan 9:26-27 shows they concern Lord Jesus Christ, his covenant he confirmed when he rode into Jerusalem and was hailed by many as the anticipated Messiah, and half way through the week he was crucified. The sacrificial system ended and the veil of the temple was torn. Following his death, burial and resurrection the Roman army destroyed and made desolate the city of Jerusalem and the temple. Jesus prophesied the destruction when he said, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." (Mt 23:38 KJV) Also, "And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." (Mt 24:2 KJV) |

NEXT GEN? “And also all that GENERATION were gathered unto their fathers (after Moses and Joshua) and there arose another GENERATION after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them and provoked the LORD to anger.”(Judges 2:10-12KJV) Responsibility of early teaching children the true word of God begins at home. Who encourages belief in DEIFIED attributes of Santa Claus, tooth fairy, Harry Potter, Disney characters, etc? Who CARICATURES biblical historical truths, teaching little ones, for example; a tiny Noah's Ark with a few animals, instead of presenting a true image of a 450 ft + long ark? There are wonderful tools from which a child can grasp a true perspective. Example: Viewing on the internet or visiting Ken Ham’s “Ark Encounter.” When The Holy Bible is fancifully taught at home or elsewhere, and the child matures, he accepts the public educator's worldly dogma as "gospel," and rejects the parental and church teachings as "fables." |
