JamesC: What do you do for a splitting headache?
Rufus: Peppermint Essential Oils or White Willow Bark

J: Do you use salt...?
R: I use Himalayan salt - salt is a good Bible food

Job 6:6 - Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

J:Some folks say that dairy is bad for you too.
R: Some folks lack God's wisdom

Genesis 18:8 - And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

J: Slipper slope into legalism (though I'm sure you believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone).
R: You are correct in that these matters have nothing to do with eternal salvation but much to do with sanctification.

J: God determines when we die.
R: Yet one can die before God's appointed time.

Ecclesiastes 7:17 - Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

J:...The health nut vegan can drop dead anytime as much as the non-vegan that exercises little.
R:"Health nut vegans" are not very healthy

Luke 15:23 - And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Thanks for your comments, grace and peace to ya.

Christians should not do drugs...moderately or in abundance.

"Caffeine is the most popular and widely used drug in the world." - http://www.druginfo.adf.org.au/drug-facts/caffeine

"It [caffeine] is a drug, and actually shares a number of traits with more notorious drugs such as amphetamines, cocaine and heroin." - http://www.howstuffworks.com/caffeine1.htm

"Caffeine is a drug which comes from the leaves, beans or nuts of different plants." - http://www0.health.nsw.gov.au/factsheets/drugandalcohol/caffeine.html

Being high on a stimulant does not equate to being given up to a sound mind for the caffeine messes with ones mind and emotions.

Caffeine has addictive properties and Christians should not expose themselves to being brought under the power of anything even if perchance caffeine was lawful.

Caffeine stresses the immune system and in these perilous times, where toxins abound, we ought not be taxing our immune systems further with caffeine.

I have answered you, you just cant see it. Romanism doesnt save it never has, SBCism doesnt save PCAism doesnt save, ONLY God can save. By Faith God can save whomever whenever he wishes, whether he is a Catholic, thief on a Cross or a Reformed Seminary PHD
I'm uncertain of the context of what you are answering. I concur with everything you've stated above and we're agreed on folks needing to take a stand on the 501c3 issue. God bless.

Starbucks should be an easy one to boycott. Christians should not be getting high on caffeine anyway.

We have a separation of church and state for those willing to separate. However, those that desire to yoke up with the state do not qualify as being separated. Examples are myriad but here's a ]]prime example. An assembly of people can choose to be a church and serve Jesus Christ or they can choose to be a corporation and serve the state. However, they can't choose both masters.

Rush can hush. He ought not pretend to be on a conservative Christian side regarding sodomite marriage when he has a militant sodomite play music at his wedding.

His premise is true however but only when it comes to state "churches". I suspect the corporate 501c3 churches will have to follow accepted public policy and will be required to give sacraments to and likely be required to hire sodomites.

How can a Christian be a homosexual? It is forbidden in the Holy Word of God.
Either we believe the Word of God or we do not. A person who does not believe the Word of God is not following Christ Jesus.
Sodomy is indeed forbidden in the Holy Word of God. So too is slothfulness, gluttony, lying, fornication, adultery, lack of charity, drunkenness etc. Yet, believers do all of these things.

If you are saying one can not be walking a sanctified, holy life and be a sodomite, I concur. However, if you are saying one can not be a believer in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and be a sodomite, I disagree.

I have not contradicted the judgment of God. If you believe David righteously managed Amnon the rapist and righteously managed Absalom the rebel, then we must indeed part ways in disagreement. How he managed his sons was directly related to the Uriah matter.

I would have been interested in your evaluation of Ananias and Saphira but it would seem your rebuke took precedent, so be it...grace and peace to ya.

In the past I considered Democrats to be the Saducees of politics and the Republicans to be the Pharisees for at least the Republicans "said" the right things. It would seem both parties are akin to the Saducees for now the Republicans neither say nor do the right things.

As I said your assessment of David's life differs from the Lord's assessment and I for one agree with the Lord. Your first paragraph does nothing but fill out the episode with Uriah.
...
The matter of Uriah did not begin and end at Uriah's death. The Uriah matter began with slothfulness and ended with the fulfilled judgment of God resulting from David's inaction/sin towards his house caused by his own sins.

2 Samuel 12:11 - Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

Who fulfilled the preceding? Absalom. How did it get fulfilled by David's mishandling/bad judgment/sin towards his children as a result of the Uriah matter. The Uriah matter did not consist of a single sin but many sins that was placed under the descriptive context of the Uriah matter.

So you say David was not in habitual sin and was eternally saved. So be it. What if we go the other way. Were Ananias and Saphira in "habitual" sin prior to God judging them? Were they not eternally saved? Or did the fact they lied to the Holy Ghost mean they were not saved to begin with?

The matter of Uriah did not start and stop with murder, it started with a little fox and became bigger and bigger sin. Slothfulness - King David stayed home during a time when kings were to go to battle. Adultery of the eye - David looked with lust upon Bathsheba. Adultery in deed / theft - David took another man's wife. Deception - David tried to get Uriah to be with Bathsheba so David would not get found out. Causing a brother to stumble - David commanded Joab to murder an innocent man. Murder - David had Uriah killed.

Then Amnon raped Tamar and David executed poor judgment against Amnon which provoked his son Absalom to wrath. He executed poor judgment I suspect due to a lack of moral authority on the matter due to the matter with Uriah. Then Absalom killed Amnon since David didn't take care of it and Absalom tore up the kingdom for a time.

I don't have a thesis for habitual sin and still be saved for I know not the definition of habitual. I do know believers can sin and sometimes they do a whole bunch of it. Doesn't mean they are no longer eternally saved.

As to reprobate equalling worthless, there is such a thing as an unprofitable/worthless servant.

The number of verses that could have been posted would be quite large. John 10:27 would've been a good one for sure.

I was not necessarily defending the American people but more so defending sheep as it is not reason to call ignorant folks sheep or sheeple for sheep are wise enough to listen and wise enough to follow the voice of the shepherd. The trouble with the United States is not that there are too many "sheeple", it's that there are too few.

Having said that, there are many Americans who are aware of Barrack Hussein Obama's Communistic tendencies. However, as with totalitarian governments throughout history the people surrounding the leader are just as wicked as the leader. If the other branches of our government were moral, they would not be standing by while the executive branch continues in lawlessness. If the military was moral they would defend the constitution. If the people were moral God wouldn't have given them immoral leadership etc.

Bottom-line, the nation as a whole has become corrupt and so we continue to be under a corrupt president who is a disciple of a corrupt antichrist Alinsky.

Airports are merely the beginning.

What they need to be rescued by is more and better preaching. What they do not need to be rescued by is the apparatus of the state (save for actual crimes being committed). I defend the civil right of Muslims to have their Madrassas and Mormons to have their "compounds" for I desire the civil right for Christians to have their schools. Research how offended the state gets by Christian schools that do not go under the headship of the state. See what happened to the Lester Roloff homes in Texas, read The Trail of Blood Revisited by Pastor Greg Dixon Sr. Pharaoh doesn't like Christian schools under the headship of Jesus Christ.

The American sheeple are too stupid to understand Obama for the Fabian socialist that he is...
Your words discredit the capabilities of sheep, they are wiser creatures than commonly understood to be.

Matthew 10:16 - Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Mark 6:34 - And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

John 10:2 - But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Google the police/fire audio and listen to it. Look at the crime scene evidence. Ignore the narrative you have been told to believe and objectively investigate what happened.
