Also, apologies aren't what we look for...confession and repentance is what's required when we sin. Whether or not Michael repents is NOT our concern is it? As I stated, that is the ministerial work of the Holy Spirit. If Michael has sinned, God will bring about the necessary repentance. Let us not worry ourselves with things we are not in charge of. As we grow, we come to deeper levels of maturity. Is it not better to overlook an offense than to continue dwelling upon it? Again, we only learn from our mistakes don't we? Yes, everything you said is true. But P. O. T. is my Christian brother, and I will have his back whhen someone wants to be rude and nasty to him after he has apologized. I would be very pissed if I were in his shoes, but he has responded with such grace and humility. I like to see that in someone, and I will always voutch for a man with such character. |

Michael Hranek,It appears that you started this fight by calling P. O. T. a hypocrite and continued by calling him a liar. Neither of these are true if you read the rest of the thread on Mormonism, where he apologized to everyone on that post, and admitted that he had been wrong on his stance. Most of this was thanks to John UK and Ladybug's compasionate approach to him. As you so aptly said Hranek: "you don't even know what someone else knows and has walked through.". Who knows what hard times he may be going through, and I'm sure your accusatory, in you face, kind of approach to him doesn't give him any warm, fuzzy fealings towards you. And you gave him such a rude responce after he apologized to you, by practicaly implying that he has no right to teach anything to you! First of all, he wasn't teaching you, he was merely pointing out an error in your sermon (a rather large one), that I noticed as well. You also then insuated that he should quit posting on here just because of a mistake he made weeks ago! And let's be honest here, you are the one who comes across as being arrogant because you can't take any correction. It speaks to P. O. T.'s humility that he was able and willing to take your correction, and even apologized again for something that happened weeks ag |

Sorry for ranting earlier. I was just fed up with people attacking the Greens without any cohesive arguments. The only thing they can accuse them of is daring to meet with the Pope. Not a good reason to boycott them if you ask me. I enjoy their crafting supplies, and I've actually been shoping there more often to support them after the big legal battle they just went through. The last thing they need is people boycotting them cause they met with the Pope! That's what I was trying to say, only now in a much cooler fasion.  |
